RFS Appoints Konrad Schütte As Vice President of Transformation and Strategy
Munich, Germany, June 8, 2018 – Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), a global designer and manufacturer of total-package solutions for wireless and broadcast infrastructure, today announced that Konrad Schütte has joined RFS as Vice President of Transformation and Strategy. Konrad reports to RFS President and CEO, Herbert Merz, and will join the RFS executive team. He is responsible for all areas related to transformation and strategy within RFS.
Extensive leadership skills, proven business acumen
Konrad brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his role at RFS. During the course of his career, Konrad has successfully led company-wide strategic transformation programs, developed company strategies, managed mergers and acquisitions, and optimized processes and value chains at major telecom companies. He has delivered significant results by quickly integrating companies and transforming their operations for increased business success. He has also successfully developed high-performance, multifunctional teams that work effectively across boundaries and is known for inspiring the dedication, hard work and positive attitude needed to achieve and exceed business targets.

An impressive history of business successes
Prior to joining RFS, Konrad held senior positions at Coriant, including Executive VP for People and Business Management, overseeing the global human resources, IT, real estate, and internal change and communications business support functions. He was also Senior VP of Strategy and Transformation at Coriant, leading the smooth integration of Sycamore Networks and the merger with Tellabs.
Konrad has also held senior business development, strategy and operational management positions at Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) and was a member of the executive team at NSN. Prior to NSN, Konrad held various senior management positions at Siemens, where he supervised international project teams and developed new management strategies.
He holds a Masters of Computer Science from Paderborn University in Germany.
