Nozay (France), April 1, 2017 – Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), a global designer and manufacturer of cable, antenna and tower systems providing total-package solutions for wireless and broadcast infrastructure, has appointed Karl Kirschenhofer Chief Operations Officer of Radio Frequency Systems. The appointment is effective immediately.

During his stretch in the telecommunications industry, Karl Kirschenhofer held several leading positions in the Industrialization field at AEG, Matra, Nortel Communications and Nokia Mobile Phones. He headed up Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing and Sourcing & Logistics as part of senior management of Siemens. He established a supply chain that was solely accountable for the delivery of Software and IT solutions to customers including the IT-System-Integration for Nokia Siemens Network - he received the European Supply Chain Excellence Award in 2008.

Before joining the RFS Team Karl Kirschenhofer was Vice President Operations at Nokia, with the responsibility to formulate and implement the Innovation Strategy for the Digitalization & “Industry 4.0” Transformation of the Supply Chain.

Capitalizing on his professional experience, Karl Kirschenhofer has lectured at Universities and teaches courses to engineers. He has been elected as a member to several noteworthy groups such as the Supply Chain Council, Siemens Mentor Pool and to the Jury of German Supply Chain Management Awards. He has coached start-up companies and enjoys volunteering.
