São Paulo, Brazil, January 23, 2017 – Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), a global designer and manufacturer of cable, antenna and tower systems providing total-package solutions for wireless and broadcast infrastructure, has appointed Wilson Conti as the new leader for its Latin America operations. In his new role as Regional Sales and General Manager for RFS throughout the LATAM region, Conti brings a wealth of experience from the Telecom and IT industries.
Conti has over 27 years of experience in the Telecom and IT industries and is well-aligned to guide RFS Latin America with a continuous focus on customer service and excellence. In his progressive career he has held leadership positions in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Operations and Strategic Planning at prominent companies including IBM, Nortel Networks, Iron Mountain, Radwin and most recently Kathrein.
His IT career commenced at IBM, where he spent 8 years in various Sales & Marketing positions. Later, as part of Nortel Networks, he held executive positions in the areas of Business Planning, Operations and Sales. In 2005, he joined Iron Mountain as Sales & Marketing Vice President, and played a vital role in deploying the company’s strategy goals in Latin America. Three years later, Conti took on the challenge of launching Radwin’s (a wireless and broadband solutions company) operations in the Mercosul region. His latest experience was at Kathrein, acting as CEO for its South American division.
At RFS, Conti will step into a leadership role in Latin America, heading up operations and reporting directly to Herbert Merz, RFS’ new President and CEO.
