MSV3.0
RF Monitor System
This system provides a complete range of monitoring functions for output coaxial equipment, allowing broadcasters to display forward/reflected transmitter power and an active mimic display of U-link/motorized switch and multi-channel combiner configurations. Feeder pressure, equipment temperature or cooling liquid flow rate, and other optional items can be monitored. The unit uses a touch screen panel PC providing programmable functions and alarm outputs.
A Modbus/RS485 input handles up to 200 devices, such as RFS detectors. Other customer-specific Modbus modules can be added.
The RF monitoring system is expandable, alarming systems with up to 14 transmitters (in the standard configuration). Alarms can be reset from the PC touch screen display, or via the web interface. Sensor modules, each providing 8 opto-isolated inputs, can be added to the system to provide detailed status on equipment such as U-link switches. Analogue inputs and outputs are optional and enable monitoring of peripherals such as pressure sensor, temperature sensor, flow rate meter and dehydrator when integrated into the on-site system.
Display is a bright 6.5” SVGA colour touch screen with 640 x 480 pixel resolution. The operating system for the touch screen PC is Windows CE 6.0.
An Ethernet connection to the panel PC enables the system to be viewed remotely using a web browser. SNMP is also supported, allowing the monitoring system to be integrated into a Network Management System.
