Restriction of hazardous substances in electronic equipment (RoHS)

As of July 1st, 2006, Directive 2002/95/EC on the “Restriction of hazardous substances in electronic equipment” (RoHS) restricted the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). The RoHS Directive currently restricts the use of ten substances to the following maximum concentration values tolerated by weight in homogeneous materials.

Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)

The RFS Group is as a producer of telecommunication equipment downstream user of chemicals and preparations under the definitions of REACH. RFS does not manufacture or import chemical substances to the EU in quantities above 1 ton per annum and is therefore not obliged to pre-register or register under the REACH regulation. – Art. 7(1).
