How long will the data be saved?

Your personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the named purposes. If required by mandatory legislation, which is imposing certain retention periods, e.g. in the Handelsgesetzbuch (German Commercial Code) or the Abgabenordnung (German Fiscal Code) or any other relevant legislation, we might need to continue storing your data for a longer time period. Use of Matomo

Radio Frequency Systems is making use of PIWIK (Matomo) for the data collection by Cookies. The mandatory fields are marked, whilst the provision of further information is voluntary. The legal basis for processing in this case is your consent Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and lit. f GDPR. A condition for the registration and establishing of a customer account is the provision of complete and accurate basic data. The provision of voluntary data is not a condition.
  2. If you are using our webshop, it will be necessary to enter your personal data in order to make a purchase. For the completion of a purchase contract the mandatory information will be indicated separately, any further information may be given voluntarily. The legal basis for processing in this case is your consent Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and lit. f GDPR.
  3. We are entitled to process your data to keep you informed about further interesting products from our portfolio or to contact you via email or send you technical information. We are reserving our right to store your first and last name, your postal address and – to the extent we have received further information from you in the context of our business relationship- your date of birth, your cost centre, your business title and your VAT number we might store this information in mailing lists for marketing regarding similar products or services, e.g. sending interesting offers and information via post. The legal basis for processing in this case is your consent Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and lit. f GDPR potentially Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR in case of your consent. You can object the use and storage of your data for such purposes or withdraw your consent at any time by giving notice to the address specified in clause 15
  4. An automated decision-making including profiling will not be made.
  5. Your personal data, amongst others, contact, payment and order data will be deleted upon cessation of need to store it in order to be able to respond to your queries, the performance of the contract or a potential reversal of the transaction and after expiry of longer legal retention periods (e.g. up to 10 years according to the German Commercial and the German Fiscal Code). Your personal data like name, address and date of birth and screening data (if any) will be stored for a period of three years. This is needed to prevent us from needing to perform a new credit check. Further we can store your personal data if you consented or if we have legal disputes and we use proof within the legal limitation period, which can be up to thirty years, whilst the ordinary legal limitation period is 3 years.
  6. In order to prevent unauthorised access to your personal data by third parties in particular finance data we will encrypt the order process of the webshop always via SSL technology.
  7. For processing credit card payments RFS is using PCI-DSS certified external payment providers.

Supporting Children's Privacy

The Radio Frequency Systems websites do not target, and are not intended to attract, children. Radio Frequency Systems does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children nor send requests to children for personally identifiable information.
