HYBRIFLEX™ Installation Tools

Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) offers a wide variety of tools to simplify and support installation of its HYBRIFLEX™ hybrid feeder cabling solution which combines optical fiber and DC power for Remote Radio Heads (RRHs) in a single corrugated cable. RFS’ complete selection of HYBRIFLEX accessories is available in all cable sizes and designed for ease-of-use to simplify field work and help save time and money for RFS customers– often reducing HYBRIFLEX installation time by more than 80%.

RFS’ portfolio of HYBRIFLEX installation tools includes:
Jacket Removal Tool – RFS accessories allow customers to remove the jacket to start the ripcord process or to ground the HYBRIFLEX cable. Available in 3/8”, 5/8”, 7/8”, 1-1/4” and 1-5/8”.

Armor Cutting Tool – Custom tools cut the HYBRIFLEX armor without damaging the delicate inner fibers. Available in 3/8”, 5/8”, 7/8”, 1-1/4” and 1-5/8”.

Breakout Length Adjustment Tool Kit – Automate the ripcord removal using a drill for easier and quicker over length management.
Mandrel & Stop Collar Kit for 5/8”, 7/8”, 1-1/4” and 1-5/8”cables. Kit includes two stop collars for each size and two mandrels (10 pieces/kit)

RFS also offers HYBRIFLEX Fittings for terminating HYBRIFLEX to cabinets or junction boxes and forming a mechanical watertight connection.
